Khameera Nan
Ingredients
Method:
-
Mix together the flour, salt
and aniseeds. Rub in the butter or margarine until
the mixture is crumbly then gradually add the egg
and milk. Add the yeast and knead thoroughly. Cover
with a damp cloth and leave in a warm place until
doubled in size.

Divide the dough into 8 equal
portions and roll out to 2cm/3/4 in thick. Cover and
leave to rise again until doubled in size. Deep-fry
in hot ghee until brown on both sides. Drain on
kitchen paper and cover with silver foil before
serving.
