Ingredients
Method:

Soak the nuts in boiling water
for 1 hour then drain. Puree with 250ml/8 fl oz of
the milk.

Heat the remaining milk with the sugar,
cardamom and margarine over a medium heat for about
15 minutes, stirring continuously, until the sugar
has dissolved and mixture is thick.

Add the cashew paste and mix
thoroughly. Cook over a low heat for 4-5 minutes,
stirring, until the mixture is thick and sticky.

Spread evenly in a greased baking tray and leave to
cool. Cut into squares to cool.
