Desserts and Sweets Recipes - Iced Custard Apple

Ingredients

• 75g/3 oz sugar

• 1.75l/3 pts milk

• 5ml/1 tsp corn flour (cornstarch)

• 100g/4 oz cooked apple, chopped

Method:

1. Boil the sugar and milk until it has reduced to three-quarters of the quantity.

2. Blend the corn flour with a little milk then blend it into the sugar milk and stir over a low heat until the mixture thickens.

3. Remove from the heat and stir in the apple. Leave to cool then chill and whisk before serving.
