Ingredients
100g/4 oz lotus seeds
1.2l/2 pts milk
100g/4 oz sugar
5ml/1 tsp ground cardamom
Method:
Remove the hard covering from the seeds then chop them coarsely. Bring the milk to the boil and add the seeds.
Simmer until the seeds are soft and thoroughly mixed with the milk. Add the sugar and bring to the boil. Sprinkle with cardamom before serving.
