Ingredients

450g/1 lb marrow (squash),
peeled and grated

450g/1 lb sugar
-
150ml/1/4 pt milk
-
675g/1 1/2 lb khoya
-
5ml/1 tsp ghee
-
15ml/1 tbsp pistachios, chopped
-
15ml/1 tbsp flaked almonds
Method:
-
Put the marrow in a pan with
the sugar and milk and simmer for 10-15 minutes
until thick. Remove from the heat and mix in the
khoya.

Sprinkle the nuts over a baking and spread
the marrow mixture evenly over the nuts. Leave to
cool. Cut into shapes to serve.
