Nut Halwa
Ingredients
Method:
-
Soak the nuts in water for 1
hour. Drain, peel and grind to a thick liquid. Bring
the paste to the boil and simmer until reduced to
half the quantity.
-
Add the remaining ingredients
except the cashew nuts and simmer, stirring
constantly, until the mixture thickens.
-
Turn out on
to a greased dish and garnish with the cashew nuts.
Serve hot or cold , cut into cubes.
