Ingredients

  • 300ml/1/2 pt milk

  • 425g/15 oz canned rice pudding

  • 25g/1 oz blanched almonds, finely chopped

  • 25g/1 oz pistachios, finely chopped

  • 25g/1 oz sultanas

  • 15ml/1 tbsp sugar

  • 2.5ml/1/2 tsp ground cardamom

  • 5ml/1 tsp rose or kewra water


Method:

  1. Boil the milk, add the rice pudding, half the nuts, the sultanas, sugar and cardamom.

  2. Return to the boil then simmer gently for 7 minutes. Stir in the rose or kewra water and serve sprinkled with the remaining nuts.
