Indian Recipes - Sesame Tofee Indian Recipe
Ingredients
450g/4 cups sesame seeds
150g/6 oz sugar
120ml/4 fl oz water
225g/8 z desiccated (shredded) coconut
Method:
Toast the sesame seeds in a pan until lightly browned. Boil the sugar and water to the syrup.
Add the coconut and simmer over a low heat until the syrup is thick and sticky.
Stir in the sesame seeds and remove from the heat. Shape into small balls and store in an airtight container.
