Lamb Recipes - Quick Fried Liver
Ingredients
30 ml/2 tbsp oil
3 onions,
sliced
3 green chilies, seeded and
chopped
2 tomatoes, skinned and chopped
30 ml/2
tbsp tomato sauce
5 ml/1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
15 ml/1 tbsp chopped fresh
coriander (cilantro)
450 g/1 lb lambs' liver, cubed
5 ml/1 tsp garam masala
5 ml/1 tsp sugar
Method:
Heat the oil and
fry the onions until soft. Add the
chilies, tomatoes and sauces and cook
until the oil appears on the surface.
Add the coriander and
liver and fry for about 10 minutes until the
liver is tender and the liquid evaporated.
Add the garam masala and sugar and cook for 5 minutes. Serve with rice.
