Seasoning Mixture and Basic Recipes -
Mysore Rasam Powder
Ingredients

100 g/4 oz coriander (cilantro)
seeds
-
25 g/1 oz/1/4 cup black
peppercorns
-
25 g/1 oz/1/4 cup cumin seeds
-
20 ml/4 tsp fenugreek seeds
-
1 bunch fresh curry leaves
-
15 ml/1 tbsp oil
-
3 dried red chiies
-
10ml/2
tsp ground turmeric
Method:
-
Dry roast the coriander
seeds, peppercorns, cumin,
fenugreek and curry leaves
unto lightly browned, then
set aside.
-
Heat the oil and fry the
chilies. Grind all the ingredients
together until fine. Store in an
air tight container.
