Seasoning Mixture and Basic Recipes - Tamarind Juice

Ingredients

  • 1 lemon-sized tamarind

  • 250 ml/8fl oz/1 cup warm water


Method:

  1. Soak the tamarind in warm water for abut 10 minutes. 

  2. Squeeze and extract as much juice as possible from the pulp, adding a little extra warm water, if necessary.
