Tamarind Pulp
Ingredients
Method:
-
Soak the dried tamarind
overnight in the hot water or boil it for 15
minutes over a medium heat.
-
Rub the tamarind through
your fingers to reduce it to a pulp then rub
through a sieve and collect the pulp.
-
Discard
the
husks,
which
should
not
exceed
15
ml/1
tbsp.
Excess
pulp can
be
frozen.
