Seasoning Mixture and Basic Recipes - Yoghurt

Ingredients

  • 15 ml/1 tbsp live natural (plain) yoghurt

  • 15-30 ml/1-2 tbsp skimmed milk powder

  • 600 ml/1 pt/2 1/2 cups long-life milk


Method:

  1. Mix together the yoghurt and skimmed milk powder to a smooth paste. Heat the milk to lukewarm then stir it into the yoghurt paste.   

  2. Pour it into a clean vacuum Bask and leave for about 6 hours until the yoghurt has set.

  3. Empty the yoghurt into a clean container and store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
