Tamarind Sauce
Ingredients

25g/1 oz tamarind pulp
-
150ml/1/4 pt warm water
-
salt
-
5ml/1 tsp chili powder
Method:
-
Soak the tamarind in the water
for 15 minutes. Rub it in the water and blend the
two together.
-
Rub through a sieve and discard the
husk. Stir in the salt and chili powder. Chill
before serving.
