Drinks Recipes - Almond and Pistachios Milk

Ingredients

  • 1.75l/3 pts milk

  • 2.5ml/1/2 tsp saffron strands

  • 90ml/6 tbsp clear honey

  • 25g/1 oz flaked almonds

  • 25g/1 oz blanched pistachios, chopped

  • 2.5ml/1/2 tsp ground cardamom

  • 1.5ml/1/4 tsp ground cloves

  • 30ml/2 tbsp rose water

  • 6 ice cubes


Method:

  1. Place all the ingredients except the ice cubes in a pan, bring to the boil then simmer over a medium heat for 25 minutes.

  2. Remove from the heat and leave to cool. Blend with the ice cubes for 2 minutes until whipped and creamy. Serve in wine glasses.
