Indian Recipes - Creamed Coffee Indian Recipe
Ingredients
60ml/4 tbsp coffee powder
600ml/1 pt water
pinch of ground cardamom
25g/1 oz sugar
60ml/4 tbsp double (heavy) cream, whisked
Method:
Blend the coffee to a paste with a little water in a pan, then pour in the remaining water and bring to the boil.
Simmer over a medium heat for 20 minutes. Stir in the cardamom and sugar. Serve piping hot, topped with cream.
