Recipes - Saffron and Almond Milk
Ingredients

5ml/1 tsp saffron strands
-
60ml/4 tbsp hot milk
-
50g/2 oz flaked almonds
-
1.75l/3 pts milk
-
2.5ml/1/2 tsp ground cardamom
-
75g/3 oz soft light brown sugar
-
6 ice cubes
Method:
-
Soak the saffron strands in the
hot milk for 15 minutes. Blend the saffron milk with
the almonds, milk, cardamom and sugar for 1-2
minuets until whipped and creamy.

Add the ice cubed
and blend for 20 seconds. Serve in wine glasses.
