Raitas Recipes - Peanut Raita

Ingredients

  • 30ml/2 tbsp roasted peanuts

  • 300ml/1/2 pt natural (plain) yoghurt

  • salt

  • 2.5ml/1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 5ml/1 tsp cumin seeds, roasted and ground

  • 1 green chili, finely chopped

  • 15ml/1 tbsp chopped fresh coriander (cilantro)


Method:

  1. Chop the peanuts into small pieces. Beat the yoghurt until smooth then stir in the peanuts, salt, pepper and cumin seeds and blend together well.

  2. Sprinkle with the chili and coriander and chill before serving.
