Raitas Recipes - Potato and Onion Raita
Ingredients

600ml/1 pt natural (plain)
yoghurt
-
50g/2 oz potato, boiled in its
skin and cut into 5mm/1/4 in pieces
-
1 small onion, finely chopped
-
1/2 small green chili, chopped
-
salt
-
2.5ml/1/2 tsp ground roasted
cumin
-
1.5ml/1/4 tsp ground red chili
-
1.5ml/1/4 tsp garam masala
-
15ml/1 tbsp chopped fresh
coriander (cilantro)
Method:
-
Whisk the yoghurt with a fork
until smooth. Stir in the potato, onion, chili and
salt.
-
Store in the refrigerator until required.
Sprinkle with the remaining ingredients before
serving.
