Raitas Recipes - Potato Raita

Ingredients

  • 300ml/1/2 pt natural (plain) yoghurt

  • salt and pepper

  • 4 boiled potatoes, peeled and grated

  • 1 green chili, finely chopped

  • 2.5ml/1/2 tsp chili powder

  • 5ml/1 tsp cumin seeds, roasted and ground

  • 15ml/1 tbsp chopped fresh mint


Method:

  1. Whisk the yoghurt until smooth. Stir in the salt, pepper, potatoes and chili powder.

  2. Sprinkle with the cumin and mint and chill before serving.
