Raitas Recipes - Radish Raita

Ingredients

  • 10 white radishes, grated

  • salt

  • 450ml/3/4 pt natural (plain) yoghurt

  • pepper

  • 2 green chilies, finely chopped

  • 5ml/1 tsp ground cumin

  • lemon juice (optional)


Method:

  1. Sprinkle the radish with salt and leave to drain for 30 minutes.

  2. Squeeze out any excess water then stir into the yoghurt with salt, pepper, chilies, cumin. Add lemon juice if wished, Chill before serving.
