Raitas Recipes - Raita Mould
Ingredients

30ml/2 tbsp gelatin
-
120ml/4 fl oz water
-
1.76l3 pts natural (plain)
yoghurt
-
1 small cucumber, peeled and
chopped
-
5ml/2 tsp salt
-
1 small apple, peeled and
chopped
-
1 small green (bell) pepper,
chopped
-
2 green chilies, seeded and
chopped
-
5ml/1 tsp celery salt
-
salt
-
pinch of mustard powder
-
5ml/1 tsp sugar
-
1/2 small cabbage, finely
shredded
Method:
-
Dissolve the gelatin in the
water then stir it into the yoghurt and leave until
the yoghurt start to thicken.
-
Mix in all the
remaining ingredients except the cabbage, spoon into
a mould leave to set in the refrigerator.
-
Turn out
on to a serving plate and serve surrounded with the
shredded cabbage.
