Raitas Recipes - Spinach Raita
Ingredients

225g/8 oz fresh spinach,
trimmed and finely chopped
-
450ml/3/4 pt natural (plain)
yoghurt
-
1 small onion, thinly sliced
-
5ml/1 tsp ground cumin
-
1.5ml/1/4 tsp ground red chili
-
pinch of black pepper
-
salt
Method:
-
Steam the spinach in a pan
without water for about 5 minutes until soft.
Strain.
-
Mix together the remaining ingredients, stir
in the spinach then chill until ready to serve.
Serve with chicken curry and rice.
