Snacks Recipes - Nimkis

Ingredients

  • 225g/8 oz whole wheat flour

  • salt

  • 30ml/2 tbsp ghee

  • ghee or oil for deep-frying


Method:

  1. Sift together the flour and salt and rub in the ghee. Add sufficient water to make a soft dough, roll into small balls then roll these out to thick circles.

  2. Sprinkle a little flour on each circle then fold into quarters, dampen the edges and press together. Heat the oil or ghee and fry until browned.
