Ingredients

100g/4 oz sago
-
2.5ml/1/2 tsp salt
-
600ml/1 pt warm water
-
1 large potato, boiled and
mashed
-
1 small onion, chopped
-
2 green chilies, chopped
-
25g/1 oz desiccated (shredded)
coconut, toasted
-
2-3 dried mint leaves
-
15ml/1 tbsp lemon juice
-
2.5ml/1/2 tsp black pepper
-
oil for deep-frying
Method:
-
Soak the sago and salt in the
water for 30 minutes then drain.
-
Mix together all
the ingredients then shape the mixture into small
balls and deep-frying until golden brown. Serve with
tomato sauce.
