Snacks Recipes - Sev

Ingredients

  • 225g/8 oz gram flour

  • 300ml/1/2 pt water

  • pinch if bicarbonate of soda (baking soda)

  • oil for deep-frying


Method:

  1. Mix together the flour, water and bicarbonate of soda with a pinch of salt and knead to a stiff, smooth dough. Roll out thinly and cut into long strips or use a pasta machine.

  2. Heat the oil and drop the strips into the hot oil. Fry until brown and crisp them drain and leave to cool. Store in an airtight container.
